February Half Term

This February Half Term why not take advantage of 2025 prices at Burradon Farm?!

Our February half term prices are the same as last year for all of our cottages! With a minimum stay of 3 nights it’s a fantastic deal giving you plenty of time to explore the wonderful North East.

Located on a working farm, we have a range of cottages to suit all group sizes.  Choose from cosy cottages for 2, mid-size for 4-5 and larger properties sleeping up to 8.

Once you’re settled into your cottage, get ready to experience what’s on in the North East this February half term:

Fresh air is always free on our fantastic coastline!  Stay local at beautiful Seaton Sluice, Blyth, Whitley Bay or Tynemouth.  Or head up north to break-taking beaches at Alnmouth, Warkworth, Cresswell or Bamburgh.

We have history and castles in abundance – check out Tynemouth Priory, Warkworth, Alnwick, Dunstanburgh or Bamburgh Castles.

We are lucky enough to have our very own Pele Tower located at Burradon Farm too, history on your doorstep!

Love a bookshop?  Pop into one of the fab independent bookshops in Whitley Bay or Corbridge, perfect for booklovers!

Kids will love Seven Stories, National Centre for Children’s Books. Barter Books is an experience in itself – one of the largest second hand bookshops in Britain!

Fancy some culture?  Book a show at the Theatre Royal, Tyne Theatre, Customs House or The Glasshouse International Centre for Music.

We are spoilt for choice with fantastic museums.  Families will love Beamish Outdoor Museum, the Life Science Centre, Discovery Museum or Great North Museum.

Art Galleries are also in abundance up North!  Try the Laing Art Gallery, Biscuit Factory, Shipley Art Gallery, Hatton Gallery, or the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art.

Garden fan? Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum is well worth a visit for the snowdrops alone!

Closer to home why not explore Gosforth Nature Reserve, nationally important for its rare wildlife and plants.  Or the Rising Sun Country Park – a haven for wildlife and an ideal place to enjoy the great outdoors.

Of course there are also loads of National Trust or English Heritage sites to visit in the area. Closest to us is the wonderful Seaton Delaval Hall.  Or why not try Gibside, Cragside, Belsay or Tynemouth Priory and Castle.

Whatever you choose – have a fantastic February Half Term!
