We are delighted to introduce The Cartshed – our brand new accessible property!
The Cartshed has been lovingly renovated from a disused shed to a beautiful one bedroomed accessible holiday cottage.
The build started in February 2025 and, as with most projects, has not been without complications! It’s now September, we are nearing completion and it has definitely all been worth it!
The Cartshed has a wonderful aspect with views of the surrounding fields from the impressive feature window. Guests can gaze at the vista day and night (perfect for those special sunsets), or bring the electric blinds down for a cosy night in.
The lovely open plan living/kitchen area has a relaxing colour scheme, cosy dining area and comfy sofa, as well as a rise and recline armchair.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washer drier, full size fridge, side opening oven and of course every bit of crockery and kitchenware you will need for your stay!
We love the spacious wetroom with its decorative flooring and modern look. With its raised, extended pan toilet and plenty of grabrails it is perfect for less mobile guests or wheelchair users. We can also provide a wheeled shower chair if needed!
The pretty bedroom is a peaceful haven with super-comfy, super-kingsize bed which can be made up as singles if preferred. Guests will wake up refreshed and ready for the day ahead.
Parking is conveniently located opposite the cottage and The Cartshed is completely level access from the patio/entrance area outside leading into the cottage. Wide internal doorways are suitable for wheelchair users.
