Honeysuckle is a delightful one bedroomed cottage offering a peaceful haven with uninterrupted views of the 14th Century Pele Tower and a honeysuckle strewn walled garden. It is graded 4* Gold by VisitEngland and is the perfect size for two, with its comfy kingsize bed and spacious beamed living room, it is a characterful, cosy cottage with every facility for a relaxing visit.

We have lots of lovely TripAdvisor and Google reviews from guests staying with us over the years. We have been visiting Burradon Cottages on average twice a year since 2012 to see our son and grand children who live in Whitley Bay. We always try and stay on Honeysuckle & Rose Cottages. We have enjoyed every second of your stay in this little piece of heaven; the front garden, views over the fields out the back, the bird life, the rumbling past of the farm machinery, planes overhead to and fro from NCL airport. Once again a great stay at Burradon Cottages. We have now used their largest to smallest cottage over a number of years and have never been disappointed. Honeysuckle Cottage had all that we needed for two adults in terms of fittings and comfort. A lovely little cottage - We recently stayed in Honeysuckle Cottage so we could visit friends locally. It's a perfect location and so lovely and quiet surroundings. The cottage has everything you need and plenty of space, we felt everything was really clean and given the weather had turned for the worse the cottage was really warm. Will definitely book again! We brought 34 people and a dog here last week for our production of 'Peter Pan' at Whitley Bay. Cast and crew loved it here - can be private or can socialise. Accommodation is beautiful and flexible. Management here superb, nothing too much trouble. We stayed an extra week and had a fabulous week. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for 9 months. The location was ideal in terms of distance from where I was working but was also within easy reach of not only Cramlington and the surrounding area but Newcastle itself was only a mere 10 minutes away. I wanted something rural even though the farm cottage was only a mile from the edge of Cramlington, I could easily have thought I was in the middle of the countryside and not just because I was surrounded by fields of not just grass but donkeys, horses, goats and various other animals which kids would love as much as I did. The cottage itself was clean and spacious, well equipped and still held all its charm with its wooden beams and spilt door entrance. It was well furnished and maintained throughout. The garden was great for when we get a rare glimpse of the sun. I found the proprietors very helpful indeed and they made my stay very pleasurable. I would recommend this accommodation to anybody.
