Halloween for Adults!

Halloween is just around the corner and brave hearted folk are in for a treat with venues across the North East offering spine-tingling thrills and frights! Halloween isn’t just for the kids so take a look at 8 Halloween events for adults in Newcastle and the North East:

Terror in the Trees 3.0 at Beamish Hall Hotel  (Fri 4 October – Sat 2 November 2019) – Are you prepared to be TERRFIED?! Beamish Hall are rather cruelly inviting you to wander through their trees this October for a heart-pounding scarefest.

BALTIC Halloween Quayside Tour (Wed 30 October – Fri 1 November 2019) – Take a tour of the Quayside to discover some of the spookiest stories and uncover the most haunting history. This spine-chilling Quayside tour is free but booking is essential.

Woofgang Howl-O-Ween at Stack Newcastle ( Sun 27 October 2019, 12.30pm-3.30pm) – If you and your pooch are in need of a Sunday afternoon activity in Newcastle then head to Stack and enjoy a Howl-O-Ween event especially for your four-legged best friend.

Evil Dead II Film Screening at Newcastle Castle (Wed 30 October 2019) – Newcastle Castle invite you to join them in their Great Hall for a terrifying film screening the eve of Halloween in the oldest building in Newcastle!

Paranormal or Paranoia: Halloween at Life Science Centre (Thu 31 October 2019) – Not for the faint-hearted – Join Life and the team from GHOSTnortheast to learn more about the site’s unnerving history and to take part in the first ever paranormal investigation in the science centre using various tech devices.

Walk on The Dark Side in Newcastle (Wed 30 October 2019) – Newcastle is rolling in history and heritage – where better to go on a haunted, ghostly walk than through the city of Newcastle? Join the Newcastle City Guides as they reveal some of the darker secrets from Newcastle’s history.

Tyneside Cinema Halloween All-Nighter (Sat 26 October 2019) – Get ready to bed in for a chilling 21-hour stint at the city-centre cinema. There will be 16 films showing across their 4 screens and plenty of classic horror movies, late-night frights and all out terrifying films to choose from. Tyneside Bar Cafe will also be open for a Halloween party with a live band to get you in the mood.

Haunted Tours of the Lit and Phil (Thu 31 October – Fri 1 November 2019) – The Lit & Phil in Newcastle is believed to host more ghosts than any other building in the city …
