Festivals, music and more …..

Festivals, music and more … we are spoilt for choice for fantastic venues within a 20 minute drive of Burradon Farm.  The Utilita Arena, Newcastle City Hall, the O2 Academy and the Sage Gateshead to name a few.

Huge stars such as Barry Manilow, Michael Bublé, James Blunt and the Pet Shop Boys are all heading up north!  Local lad Sam Fender is also set to get thousands rocking at his sell out gig at the Utilita Arena.

This is Tomorrow is the largest outdoor music festival in the North East taking place from 24th – 26th May 2020.  The three day festival is located in the heart of Newcastle in the beautiful surroundings of Exhibition Park .  Featuring Lewis Capaldi, Sam Fender, Gerry Cinnamon, Noel Gallagher and the Stereophonics … the list goes on!  This is Tomorrow prides itself on great food, local ales and last but not least Pop Art.

Newcastle is on the countdown to hosting UK Pride 2020 in the city from 17th – 19th July 2020 when an explosion of colour will blast onto our streets.  Newcastle were chosen over other big cities to host this exciting event.

Some of the best North East music can be found at one of Newcastle’s smaller venues such as The Cluny or The Cumberland Arms.  Here you’ll find intimate gigs with local artists playing anything from folk music to punk rock.

There are loads of festivals, music and more going on in NewcastleGateshead.  Why not make a weekend of it and stay with us at Burradon Farm, only a stone’s throw from the action!
