During these challenging times we continue to closely monitor Government regulations and industry guidelines and follow these accordingly. All guests staying with us are required to follow Government regulations in force at the time.
Due to the National Lockdown, we are currently unable to accept holiday or leisure travelers until after 12th April 2021. However, we are pleased to advise that we are open for those who are permitted to travel and stay overnight during the lockdown period. Government Guidelines are clear that we are allowed to accept guests who have to travel for work purposes, please note that we will need to ask for evidence of this on booking. There are other exceptions such as those who require accommodation while moving house, those who are unable to return to their main residence, or those who need accommodation to attend a funeral or related commemorative event. The full guidance can be seen here, but please do not hesitate to contact us if you are unsure and we can check if you are able to stay.
FROM 12TH APRIL: We are absolutely delighted that we will be able to welcome back holiday and leisure travelers from 12th April 2021! Please note that only one household (including legally permitted support bubble) is allowed to stay in each property and no visitors are allowed indoors at this time, however guests will be permitted to meet outdoors with up to two households/6 people.
FROM 17TH MAY: Guests staying with us from 17th May will be subject to the Rule of 6 or two households staying in each property. There is a 30 person limit outdoors.
(Please note that the above dates are subject to change following Government assessment of progress over the coming weeks, but we are very happy to take bookings for 12th April onwards. We will update this information page as the weeks go on to clarify any changes in how many households can stay together and meet indoors).
We are delighted to confirm that we have been awarded two Industry Standards, the AA Covid Confident standard and VisitEngland’s We’re Good to Go. These standards recognise that we meet stringent criteria and are following Government and industry Covid-19 guidelines, have a risk assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. All of our cottages are self-contained with their own front door, perfect for social distancing. We pride ourselves in our high standards of housekeeping (just look at our reviews!) however we have increased our cleaning regime further to ensure the comfort, health and wellbeing of everyone staying at Burradon Farm. To this end, please note our new arrival time of 4.00 pm in order to allow us time to complete this.
We display the NHS Track and Trace QR code in each property – if guests have the NHS Covid Track and Trace app on their mobile phone they can scan this if they wish.
Of course all guests are responsible for following the latest Government guidelines on social distancing, wearing masks and hand washing.
Availability is up to date on our online booking system, or please feel free to contact us directly to check availability. At this time of uncertainty, please note that online bookings are not confirmed until the booking has been processed and you have received confirmation of this from the online booking system – we may need to discuss your stay with you before we are able to confirm. You can rest assured that if your booking is cancelled due to Government imposed travel restrictions surrounding Covid-19 then we will offer alternative dates or a credit voucher.
Guests may wish to refer to our Cancellation Policy contained within our Terms and Conditions.
Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for further updates and information about local businesses and attractions who all need our support at this difficult time (we’d be very grateful for a Facebook ‘like’ or ‘share’ too!)
We look forward to welcoming guests back from 12th April onwards! Please note that we are getting busy over the summer months so book early to avoid disappointment!
Thank you for your continued support.
