Forge Cottage (sleeps 4)

There were no tractors to do the land work only horses, when the forge was built. The tack room and storage spaces have been tastefully converted to a spacious luxurious cottage, with the forge restored to its former glory. There are two bedrooms, a family bathroom and a private garden / patio area. Extra to this cottage is the separate dining room, useful for entertaining or business meetings.

The property has traditional pine furniture throughout and boasts a fully equipped kitchen with extensive fitted units stocked with a wide range of cooking utensils and crockery. Appliances include an electric oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, washer/dryer, microwave and all the usual electricals that make up the modern kitchen.

Forge Cottage has a characterful dining room with a traditional sideboard and dining table large enough to seat 6 people.

The individually designed sitting room with the ancient forge restored, exudes charm and elegance. Entertainment from the widescreen TV, DVD player and stereo system can be enjoyed from the comfort of settees and armchairs.

The light, bright bedrooms are well provided with ample drawer and wardrobe space. Well sprung mattresses are complimented with crisp coordinating bed linen.

The fully fitted tiled bathroom benefits from a powerful Mira shower in a separate cubicle.

Double glazing, energy efficient gas central heating and security system all contribute to ensure that the property is comfortable and relaxing for the visitor.
