Buttermilk (sleeps 4)

This cottage used to be the dairy where the cows were milked, and it has been converted into a luxurious apartment. It has a modern open plan kitchen with breakfast bar and large sitting room. There are two bedrooms - one double and the other can either be double or twin. Ideal for those needing accommodation all on one level.

Buttermilk Cottage has traditional pine furniture throughout and boasts a fully fitted kitchen with extensive units stocked with a wide range of cooking utensils and crockery. Appliances include an electric oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, tumbler dryer, microwave and all the usual electricals that make up the modern kitchen.

The open plan design whereby this kitchen area is separated from the sitting room by the breakfast bar ensures that family time together can be enjoyed.

There are two comfortable settees in the sitting area, along with the widescreen TV, DVD and stereo player, and a book stocked dresser. The side door opens into the grassed garden shared with Rose Cottage.

The light, bright bedrooms are well provided with ample drawer and wardrobe space. Well sprung mattresses are complimented with crisp, coordinating bed linen. The twin bedroom is large enough to have the addition of a Z bed, if 3 single beds are required. Alternatively, the twin beds can be zipped and linked to form a kingsize bed.

The fully fitted, tiled bathroom benefits from a powerful Mira shower, in a separate cubicle.

Double glazing, gas central heating and security system all contribute to ensure that the property provides for a comfortable and relaxing stay for the visitor.
